Alessandro Torre was born in Messina and grew up between Gerenzano and Milan. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery and specialized in Infectious and Tropical Diseases at the University of Milan. He spent several months in Asia volunteering at rural clinics in India, Thailand, and East Timor. These experiences, culminating in his final year of specialization in Vietnam, created an unbreakable bond with the East and its culture. He works as an infectious disease doctor at the "Luigi Sacco" Hospital in Milan, dedicating himself to patients with tuberculosis. Together with his anatomy professor, he founded the "Compagnia del Sacco," a theater company that for 9 years brought performances and smiles to the hospital.
