With intense and musical writing, Gabriele Zanini transforms universal emotions into delicate and profound images, narrating the need for love, the search for self, and the courage to finally let oneself live. Melancholy, anger, passions, and memories of a distant past intertwine with dreams to be cherished, painful experiences, and long-forgotten expectations. Gabriele Zanini “And Butterflies Dwell on the Ceiling”, NeP Edizioni

This collection takes the reader into the most intimate spaces of the human soul, where the inner child confronts the adult through memories, desires, nostalgia, and hopes.
With intense and harmonious writing, the author translates universal emotions into delicate and profound images, narrating the need for love, the search for one's identity, and the courage to fully embrace life.
Melancholy, anger, passions, and memories of a distant past intertwine with dreams to cherish, painful experiences, and expectations that time has not erased.
The verses give voice to authentic feelings and establish an immediate and sincere connection with the reader, based on the sharing of the human experience.
Behind the apparent silence of the page, a confidential dialogue between author and reader takes shape: an authentic, sought-after, and desired encounter, where poetic words become a bridge and an opportunity for mutual recognition.
The poems awaken emotions and celebrate the love for life, reaching the heart naturally. Writing thus becomes a tool capable of embracing and narrating pain, joy, and hope, transforming them into a universal reflection.
Each composition is imbued with its own existential musicality, capable of guiding us along an emotional and introspective journey.
The sound and meaning of the texts reflect the inner world of a sensitivity rich in emotions, desires, and childlike fantasies, but also of disillusionment, anxieties, and mature passions. It is the expression of an ever-burning vital core, a gaze capable of observing reality with primal wonder, as if each discovery were happening for the first time.
A collection of compositions permeated with harmony and deep humanity, which not only narrate the author's journey but speak to each of us.
