Gabriele Zanini was born in La Spezia and has lived in Bologna, Parma, and Pontremoli (MS). For years, he has been living in Puglia, in the province of Bari, a few steps from Alberobello. He published the collection of anecdotes and aphorisms I Have Lived (Il mio libro, 2015), from which the homonymous reading was derived. He also has the collection Gold, Light, and Honey (Les Flaneurs, 2019) to his credit. He is the narrator in some theatrical performances, for which he also signs the direction.
