Membro OPIFER, già Vicepresidente della Società Italiana di Psicologia Clinica e Psicoterapia, ha fondato con la collaborazione di Pier Francesco Galli la Conferenza permanente di Psicoterapia clinica dell’APPPER per il confronto clinico in psicoanalisi e nei principali indirizzi psicoterapici. Coordinatore e relatore presso il Dipartimento di Psicologia dell’Università di Bologna, il Consiglio dell’Ordine degli Psicologi dell’Emilia Romagna e l’Istituzione G. F. Minguzzi di Bologna di oltre 150 seminari sull’area clinica e professionale. È stato coautore del libro-ricerca, unitamente al Consiglio Nazionale dell’Ordine degli Psicologi L’accreditamento professionale degli psicologi (Liguori 2009), Amore non è amare (Mondadori 2011), Il Simbolico e la Metafora (La Meridiana 2017).
