The volume delves into the complex historical-cultural dynamics that generated and then poetically-literarily codified the profound religious upheaval inherent in the transition from the prehistoric theocracy of matriarchal and matrilineal origin, fundamentally monistic, to the polytheistic theocracy of the Hellenic Olympus. It is not, in fact, an intellectual whim to approach that human world, even though it is so distant in time from ours: a non-superficial understanding of it could be useful for building a global future that is not only environmentally but above all "humanly sustainable." The text also recalls reflections already anticipated in the volume Politics and Professions in the Relationship (NeP, 2022).
A "blind force" dominates the orientations and actions of an increasingly brutalized and dehumanizingly ferocious human world, profoundly altering the entire social fabric and compromising the quality of communicative processes in the name of a false and homogenizing neutrality. The resulting outcome is a chilling non-relationship – an absolute and "obscene" nonsense – that removes any stable point of balance, with the collapse of any minimally plausible project of communal life, victim of dystopian intentions, where individuals are relegated to a grip of constraints and dehumanized lifestyles. That non-relationship threatens the very feminist cultural universe with its exclusive social engineering plagued by a segregated and segregating gender-consciousness, because it is erected solely to fit women and falsely modeled on the idea of "matriarchy" as its artificial ideal type. With scientific rigor and a profoundly humanistic spirit, current archeomythology has spectacularly debunked that ambitious assimilation of the feminist matriarchal ideal with prehistoric matriarchy, stripping it of any foundation.
