Description

Three stories to read in one breath, perhaps on different days, to entertain and refresh the mood, experiencing a moment of peace with oneself.

In The Bruschetta, a graduation party at a restaurant among friends, where eating, drinking, chatting, and dancing turn into an extraordinary evening until an unpredictable event disrupts the cheerful group. And the world changes dimension.

The Infernal Power of the Brief follows Commissioner Fosco Reggiani on the trail of a criminal figure, wanted by international police, who seeks to seize the assets of a restaurateur friend through violence and oppression.

How Come finally questions how not everyone feels comfortable in a world that forces them to appear rather than be. This is what happens to a young man during the presentation of a famous author's book, when every perspective of his present and future transforms into something else.

Three stories, three different worlds, three opportunities to be surprised by what happens when everyday life takes an unexpected turn.

“I wanted to eat something crunchy, like a well-toasted bruschetta covered with butter and anchovies. My mouth watered at the thought of biting into it and savoring its ancient taste, like when grandma would take the thick slice of bruschetta from the grill placed over the burning coals of the fireplace and fill it, then place it on the plate while still hot. I would grab it with my little hands and bite into it, happy to leave traces of butter on my lips and sometimes on my nose. There, I wanted to return to that time of my existence, but around me was emptiness, without light, sounds, or smells.”
